As a clinically trained and licensed psychotherapist, Certified Teacher for Mindful Self-Compassion and Certified Resilience Coach I offer counselling, coaching and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy) for disorders related to stress, depression, anxiety and much more. Also I support people in crisis, struggling with personality traits, or wishing to enhance self-awareness, personal growth, work performance and creativity. My longterm personal meditation practice gifts me with peace and creativeness that I enjoy sharing with others. In my work I integrate both scientifically proved methods of behavioral therapy and energetic-contemplative methods of Mind-Body-Medicine. I enjoy accompanying people like you on their path to well-being and supporting them in finding strength for their individual process of change and growth. Based in Berlin-Pankow, I treat adults individually. Sessions usually take place in person, online meetings are possible.

More than half of my clients from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds ask for therapy in English language which I offer with great pleasure. Being experienced in living temporarily abroad and traveling extensively myself, I consider it a great pleasure to help people adjusting to new and unfamiliar life circumstances that may sometimes bring about challenges, including mental health problems.

My approach integrates traditional cognitive behavioral psychotherapy with techniques based based on mindfulness and self-awareness, body-oriented methods and neuroscience. From the beginning I have also been exploring ancient wisdom traditions related to healing pathways and am integrating several of these pathways in my approach and work with the challenges of human life. All of these paths encourage us to find clarity and guidance from within and to trust it in our most trying times while standing up for the change we want to experience in this world. I can clearly see the benefits of all of these pathways for myself and my clients when ancient wisdom and contemporary healing approaches merge. Thus I understand myself as a  companion on an the individual path of transformation and healing. I feel very humbled to be able to work and be with fellow human beings as a psychotherapist, coach and teacher and have great respect for anyone who is willing to enter such processes, as it takes courage to embark on a journey of self-discovery. 

In 2016 I started offering 8-week Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) programs, and our English groups tend to bring together people from various countries and different mother tongues which offers a lovely basis to discover our shared common humanity. Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) – English courses: My next Mindful Self-Compassion offering is Fierce Self-Compassion – The 8 Week Program, an Online Training Program from November 19, 2024 – January 14, 2025, live on Zoom. Every week we meet on Tuesdays from 18:30 – 21:00 (06:30pm – 09:00pm CET). I will be teaching together with my dear colleague Wiebke Pausch.
